pero no me escucharon. Por lo visto, se trataba de algo m\u00e1s grave que un puro asunto civil. (Aunque \u00e9stos, a veces, tambi\u00e9n presentan cierta gravedad, pues, como se sabe, los cuadrilleros de la Santa Hermandad est\u00e1n facultados no s\u00f3lo para detener, sino tambi\u00e9n para juzgar y ejecutar las sentencias, las cuales, caso de ser de muerte, se realizan atando a un \u00e1rbol al reo y acribill\u00e1ndole<\/strong> <strong>a saetazos hasta que muere.) El hecho es que los cuadrilleros, en este caso, cumpl\u00edan, excepcionalmente, \u00f3rdenes emanantes de otra organizaci\u00f3n, encargada \u00e9sta de velar por la pureza dogm\u00e1tica; me refiero a la Santa Inquisici\u00f3n (S.
